Later, the cockroaches interfere in Oggy and Jacks chess game and suspecting that Oggy is a traitor, Jack builds up a wall dividing everything in the house into two. Now, Marky and Joey must free Dee Dee from captivity. The show employs silent comedy: characters either do not speak or use unintelligible vocalizations and gestures. Dee Dee gets stuck in a bottle and Oggy traps him in the fridge.

Oggy seems to have a tranquil demeaner but when provoked by the cockroaches or someone else, he would fly in a rage and attack them. He also displays a love for gardening and food. Of all of his life, he spends his life chasing and catching the cockroaches, but somehow developed a complicated relationship (in other words, love-hate kind) with them and has also learnt (as much as he hates to admit it) that without the cockroaches, his life would be very dull. Oggy is a diplomatic, sometimes lazy and an good-natured cat who is the constant victim of the cockroaches.
